super lotto results www.ronkat.net Canal & River Trust cares for and brings to life 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England & Wales. They believe waterways have the power to make a difference to people's lives and that spending time by water can make us all healthier and happier.
With ever increasing rates of obesity, stress and declining mental health in the UK, Canal & River Trust is uniquely placed to make a significant contribution to improving the wellbeing of millions of people, which post-COVID is even more important than ever. Their canals and rivers run through some of the most heavily populated communities in England and Wales, providing accessible blue and green space where it's needed the most.
That's why Canal & River Trust is working with volunteers and communities across England and Wales to transform canals and rivers into spaces where local people want to spend time and feel better.
With over £16 Million in funding received to date, players of People's Postcode Lottery have supported a range of important waterway and wellbeing projects. This ranges from work on the Cathedral of the Canals Anderton Boat Lift, to the participation programme Let's! to our national community outreach programme Community Roots.
Richard Parry, Chief Executive at Canal & River Trust, said, "We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support of People's Postcode Lottery which has enabled us to fund a range of vital projects, helping to realise our vision of living waterways that transform places and enrich lives."
